CRAIG SOLEY 5th DAN SHIHAN

From junior student to multiple World Champion and one of Australia's highest grades

Craig has been a member of the Academy for over 30 years.

From the beginning Craig showed enormous potential competing successfully as a junior and representing the Australian Karate Federation in a number of major junior International championships.

Excelling a both kata and kumite Craig's greatest success is in winning a total of four IKGA World Championship titles in Brazil, South Africa and in Australia. Winning three of those titles in the ippon kumite events conducted under the World Karate Federation rules and his fourth in the free-flowing continuous sparring of the IKGA jiyu-kumite.

A former detective and now very qualified physio-therapist Craig runs 'Physio-Fit: Fitness from the inside out' a great fitness and flexibility class in the mornings at the Academy
